Entrance fee for the wedding?

Marleen P, on May 31, 2016 at 10:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 56

Can I charge an entrance fee for the wedding? I also wanted to do a cash bar and a honeymoon fund. What else am I missing??? Lol just kidding! For all the new users, don't do it.

If you want to really cut costs why don't you kick out some bridesmaids?

Don't forget to have your BP run around collecting money from your guests.

Oh, you haven't heard of it? Must be a regional thing.....

A bring your own chair ceremony is also the way to go. Those rentals can get pretty pricey.

I highly recommend you also hire all your friends as your vendors!

You should also send a bill to anyone who RSVPs and does not sow up.

@Dianna- Oh yum potluck! We will have better food, good idea.

@OG Kristen- I'm bringing pillows and a blanket instead of chairs.

@Amanda- can't have the BP collecting $$, we will be broke.

@Fernandez2018- no self catering for me, I will go with potluck and BYOL

To make sure you maximize the gift potential, do a tiered reception! People love that!
