We got engaged in April 18 2017 and am getting married Aug 18, 2018. 16 month engagement. Long enough to plan and the last 8 months have flown by yet the next 8 months feels so far away!

We got engaged on January 20, 2017 and are getting married on April 28, 2018. I don't consider it that long but my sister in law got engaged in September 2015 and was married in June 2016 so mine was longer than hers.

Engaged January 2017. Wedding set for September 2018. We also bought a house last month and FH is moving from a far away city to my area and we are moving to what will be our new shared home. When we tell people the timeline they look at us like it's geologic time. Smiley smile We also knew each other four years before starting dating and dated five and a half before getting engaged, for context.

I will be engaged for about 8 months. It fit best for us since my FH starts medical school in August. Also we wanted a short engagement

We got engaged June 2013 and will be married September 2018. We knew we were going to have a longer engagement because we wanted to finish school first and until we were financially stable Smiley smile. It didn’t really bother us about the length of our engagement.

My daughter was engaged in October 2017, and is getting married end of April, 2018. About 6 months. They didn't want to give more of their life over to wedding planning, and they wanted a spring/just outside prime season wedding.

All depends on the couple we got engaged in 16 married in 18. Now take my sister for example engaged in 96 still not married in 17

Got Engaged February 2016. Getting married May 5 2018. A year to enjoy our engagement. And a little over a year for planning and saving.

FH proposed June 2017 and we're getting married December 2018. Many people have told us they feel it's a very long engagement but the timeline is logical and practical for us.

My favorite comment (seriously) was from a sweet 91 year old lady. She heard I was getting married and (not knowing about the "long" engagement) says, "What's with people waiting so long to get married nowadays?? 70 years ago, Leroy gave me a ring end of July and we were married beginning of September!" Made me smile!

(It was a group of 80+ year old women and they were shocked to find out that now you have to pay for the church too!)
