Currently, I've been engaged 1 year and 7 months.. Still have 9 months to go.. I consider it long, but it works for us.

Been engaged since July 8, 2016. Getting married May 19, 2018. We took a year to just enjoy being engaged and then started planning around the 1 year mark. Also gave us an opportunity to save a little more for the wedding.

Been engaged since March 18, 2017 and getting married August 18, 2018. I feel like it is the perfect time frame! Not so fast that I feel overwhelmed with planning, but not too long that I feel like we're just waiting to plan.

Been engaged since July 9th 2017, getting married in February 2018. We wanted a short engagement, because we want to start TTC right away.

We had a ten month engagement, planned for about 9 months. I didn't want it any longer and probably would have preferred 6-8 months. However, a lot of it is booking major vendors to ensure availability and then just waiting to do the rest. We also didn't need time to save.

We got engaged in August 2016 and the wedding is April 2018. So we'll have had a 20 month engagement. Felt so far away and long at first, but at this point I feel like it was definitely the right amount of time for us to save up and figure out what we want and plan.

We have an almost 9 month engagement. We were together 8 years when we got engaged and didn't live together yet so We wanted to get on with it and not have a super long engagement.

I got engaged on November 20, 2016 and will be getting married on March 24, 2018. Right around 16 months.

It FEELS long to me, but I know a lot of people have gone longer than us. I'd say anything beyond a year could be considered long.

We chose to wait 16 months because the venue we wanted didn't have many dates available when we booked in January so we picked the date that seemed to work the best for us and our families. I also chose it because I wanted a spring wedding, and because it worked best for our budget.

We have been engaged over a year and a half already and marry next summer. We waited a year or so to pick a date and start planning. Honestly, I was/am in no hurry to get married. We have been together for 10 years and have been living together for three, ever since we moved pretty much across the country together. We also wanted to get married back where we used to live, which is 3000 miles away, so we needed time for planning visits and the distance meant we pretty much had to do a summer date because of my job. I would have even pushed it another year, but I thought that would be too long for our families etc.

Got engaged Feb 2016. Wedding was originally supposed to be Apr of this year. Got pregnant. Had child. New date 7/7/17. So that's a time span of over two years lol

Got engaged November 2017 and will get married December 2019. It's a bit long for me, but my FH felt it was important to wait so we could save up and have the wedding we want. (I personally would've been ok eloping at the courthouse)

We've been engaged since Christmas Day 2016 and are getting married in February. So a little less than 14 months.

By the time we get married we will have been engaged for around 13 months. While I realize that is right around average it still feels long to me. I can't wait to marry FH and would have loved to have a short engagement but, couldn't plan something on such a short timeline.

All said and done we will have a 20 month engagement. We didn't want to be financially stressed planning and my parents are helping out a lot so I didn't want them stressed either.

I got engaged in March 2016 with the wedding in October 2018. So it'll be about 2.5 yr engagement, which I think is a little long but it works Smiley smile

We got engaged in September 2016 and are getting married in May 2018 so total engagement will be a year and 8 months. It was the perfect length engagement for us.
