Well when FH & I started talking about rings he asked me exactly what I wanted because I’m so picky and I love details and unique things. So instead of the 4Cs he went to the jeweler with my 4 criteria: gem stone/no diamonds, details, white gold, pear shaped. He nailed it perfectly with the most beautiful aquamarine pear shaped ring with the most outrageous details.

My fh actually bought me the exact ring I wanted. We had been talking about it for a while and we went to the mall one day which we do on a regular basis and as we were walking in he said will you please show me that ring again? I said sure we walked in and he asked the sales rep to purchase 😃❤️ I love my ring because it’s not too big and not too small. Rather than a normal halo the halo swirls up. It creates such a lovely look.

Your ring is beautiful. I actually told my daughter what I wanted so when he showed her what he was going to buy she sent him what I wanted and he had it made for me. Love it.

My FH is actually a jeweler, and made my ring himself. The only direction I gave him was the morganite trillion cut and rose gold somewhere in it. I told him I wanted to see HIM in the ring and I wanted him to give me his vision. I think he did a phenomenal job, and I’m thrilled I get to wear this for the rest of my life!

One day we randomly looked at rings, he pointed one out I tried it on and knew this was my ring, I didn't want to take it off. 1 1/2 yrs later her proposed with that ring. It's absolutely perfect for me!

This is a second marriage for both of us. My first proposal was without a ring because I wanted to have it made... and I put too much thought and effort into selecting the setting, having it designed, choosing the diamond, etc. After divorcing I knew I’d never do that again because the ring (dress, flowers, etc.) aren’t what’s important.

So this time, I didn’t discuss rings or even show pics. I wanted absolutely nothing to do with the ring and preferred that it be solely selected by my FH. To me, it was more meaningful that the ring was something that he chose and wanted specifically for me. My FH did amazing job with the ring and I love it for multiple reasons (especially because it was a total surprise).

He got the one I mentioned to him a long time ago. I LOVE the Celtic knots on the sides. He chose the diamond and it is beautiful! He did well with some not so subtle hints.
