Engagement Photo Ideas

FH and I are trying to decide which idea we like better for our engagement shoot. We like both ideas we have but because engagement photos are not used a lot we've decided to only pick one theme.

Theme One: Merry-Go-Round/Carousel Theme

We have one near by and will go before they open for the day to do our shoot. We like this idea because it colorful, fun, and unique.

Theme Two: Nice Car Theme

We will rent a nice car and do a photoshoot with the car. We like this idea because it FH is mechanic and we do a lot of car related activity like watch drag races, test drive fast cars, and etc... So this theme is relatable.

Which theme do you like better?

Oh, I love both ideas, so hard to choose!
Personally, I love the merry go round idea. I feel like it's different and would be so colorful!!
Do you feel like theme two is more relevant as to what you like to enjoy as a couple? If it is, it might be a really nice personalized touch!

I like the idea with the car. You could get a nice shot of your hair blowing in the wind. Or you standing by the hood and him peeking from underneath reaching out for a tool. So many options with the car I think.

So many cool lighting opportunities for the carousel! I also think it's a better option for poses - you on a horse looking back at him, your hand on one of the poles (showing off the ring)… so many fun and cute ideas! We almost went with a local carousel for ours but opted for something more naturey, since it fits with out outdoor wedding.
