drunk brides

I went to a wedding reception last night where the bride was drunk. Although she wasn't really acting out or anything. The only thing I shook my head about was that she shove her pack of cigarettes into the top of her dress.(photographer there snapping pictures) She is going to have tons from the reception with a pack of cigarettes protruding from the top of her dress.

I don't think it's classy at all. But I come from a family of alcoholics. There will be no alcohol served at my wedding. I do not want to spend the night annoyed by certain family members

I don't think I had more than a glass of champagne at the luncheon after the ceremony. And at the at-home reception, I was the designated driver. I guess I'm no fun at all!

I'll have a shot before I go down the aisle probably (probably FH will also). I plan on eating a good breakfast though, and probably a snack before dressing.

I will have some champagne and probably a shot before walking down the aisle to calm my nerves. at the reception i'll probably only have a few drinks bc i dont want to get too sloppy and sick for the wedding night

I am making sure I cook FH and I a nice, full breakfast the morning of! There will also be a private server provided by the caterer that will bring champagne and h'ors douvres (sp?) to my half of the bridal party and his as we are all getting ready. Neither of us will be drunk tho.

I'll prob do the same thing as Little K! Not much drinking at all for the ceremony and reception, but we have to be out of our venue at 10pm so we are planning on heading back to the huge vacation house we are renting with whoever wants to come.... I'll prob be getting down then

Yeah I've been to a wedding where both the bride and groom were HAMMERED. Both puking sloppy drunk at 10 p.m. Not pretty. I'm going to have a glass or two of champagne at the wedding, and then doing something similar to @Sydney lol. I want to remember my wedding!

HAha I watched that yesterday and my eyes were glued to the tv the entire time, it was like a train wreck. But I have never been to a wedding where the bride was drunk.
