drinking on your wedding day?

This may be a touchy subject for some... But are you going to drink on your wedding day? I DO NOT want to be anywhere close to drunk on my special day, I want to remember it. I don't see a problem with having some champagne or one drink during the reception but anything beyond that, no. I guess it...

I'm pretty firm on this but I guess to each their own right?

I plan on drinking a glass or so. But I know I won't get drunk. The last time I blacked out was mine and FH's first date. LOL (long story : x) anywho, it won't happen again! I am getting to old for the hangovers. I had my good times back when I was younger now it's not as much fun as it use to be to drink all night. Now I'm just a laid back casual drinker.

I also think it would be very distasteful to get drunk on your wedding day.

We will only be having Keg's of beer. My future son's do NOT do to good on liquer so we decided that we didn't want them to ruin the wedding so just beer.

My FS went to my families bar and made a big scene so they are all nerves about him doing something again.

I only plan to have 2 drinks! One with my girls while we get ready and one during the toast! Any more than that and I'll get loose and horny. LOL

We would miss most of our wedding! I would surely snatch fh and take him back to our hotel room.

Plan on having the day of your life and leave an open bar for people who enjoy a drink! If your friends are that big of idiot's, maybe you could hire a few bouncers! TACKY, is not offering alcoholic beverages to your guest, who know how to control themselves! A wedding is the ultimate celebration and should be treated as such Smiley smile

FH and I are drinking very very moderately. As for our guests, to keep them in check we are giving out "tickets". Each ticket will have their name on it allowing them: 1 drink at the pre-ceremony cocktail hour, 2 drinks during the cocktail hour and 3 drinks during dinner. After that, they will need to pay for their drinks.

I will drink, but not much. I will definitely have champagne during our toasts and maybe some wine to sip on the rest of the night. I am not a big drinker anymore. I have no intention on getting drunk or even getting tipsy. I want to remember the whole day as well as I can.

That being said, I plan to drink a ton on our honeymoon! All-inclusive baby!

I plan on drinking very minimally during our wedding. I think it would be so sad to make this special day even more of a blur then it already will be. I also asked FH to only have so much because I want him to remember too!!! He agreed with me!
