While dress shopping this weekend with my 7 family/soon to be family members, I tried on a few dresses to humor them! While dress shopping this weekend with my 7 family/soon to be family members, I tried on a few dresses to humor them! I wanted a fitted, more plain, minimal lace/beading dress and this is the gown they handed me (attached). I came out and all the older women started tearing up. All I could think was “why did I do this?” Lol I did not purchase this gown. Perfect for someone but that someone is not me. I have a ton of my contenders saved on my phone but I’d love to see yalls! What’s the story behind it and why did you reject?

    Exchanged #1 for #2. My mom loved #1 and I really do too! The problem is that it just won’t work for my Vegas helicopter wedding. I wanted a no fuss easy to wear fun dress. Dress #1 would have been perfect for a more formal venue. Dress #2 was the one I loved from the start!

    OMG it's beautiful!!! I love it! Totally understand the budget thing though. I ended up going roughly $300 over. If it had been more, I would have been up a creek without a paddle.

    But a very pretty cupcake! lol In reality I don't think you look like a cupcake at all. Both of those look great on you. Totally get not wanting the "big" dress though!

    So I'm usually super indecisive, but I ended up with the 3rd dress I put on. And I didn't even walk out in the 2nd lol. So I have one picture of a reject (and I actually love parts of it). I did try on a couple more after the third just in case, but no one took pictures since I just wanted to get out of them and put mine back on haha.

    This is the one I fell in love with. Only pics from the designer. The sample dress was 4 sizes too big so no good pics. We are marrying in an 1818 mansion. I wanted either a pale pink or pale blue gown and I found it!! ❤ You gown is so beautiful!! I think it's gorgeous on you.
