Dog treat wedding favors

Caitlin, on February 5, 2024 at 9:26 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 2
I am going to have a little table with dog treats in little paper sealed goodie bags for dog owners to take with them at the end of the night. I am using store bought dog treats but my question is how early can I put these together so that the treats don’t “go bad”? Anyone have any experience with this? Looking to check it off the list of things to do!

This is something I would do immediately before the wedding (like the day before). Once you unseal something and expose it to air, it can start to deteriorate. The last thing you would want to do is make your guest’s pets sick!

If it’s hard treats like biscuits, do it up to a week before. Soft treats should be the day before so they don’t go bad or get hard. Also please make the packaging VERY CLEAR it’s dog treats, because people are dumb. I know someone who bit into a leaf-shaped soap in a welcome bag because she just assumed it was chocolate without bothering to even sniff. 😆
