Does my church need decorations?

You definitely don't have to! We had our welcome sign at the begining of the church, a few greenery pew hangs down the aisle and then flowers at the alter! I don't think churches need done-up as much because like you said, its naturally beautiful (and also our ceremony was 20 minutes long so...I didn't see the need to spend a ton of time/money on decor).

Your church is so beautiful. I think if you were to add any décor, just something simple on the ends of the benches that line the aisle maybe. Perfectly fine without any décor though!

You definitely don't need to decorate. My church is nice on it's own too. We are doing pew decor just to keep people from crossing the aisle (a huge pet peeve). And we are doing 2 alter arrangements to freshen up the place and bring in our wedding colors. We will also have a welcome sign by the front door.

Your church is gorgeous. I would only add a simple pop of color along the aisle and let the rest speak for itself.

NO! Less is more, that venue is so stunning! I wouldn't touch it at all, that's just me though. But OMG is that church beautiful!!!

Thank you for all the kind words. I have taken everyone’s advice and not doing any decor other than two alter arrangements that are about 2ft tall. Otherwise our church speaks for itself. This is our parish church and I love walking into it every Sunday. It is so breathtaking!!
