Does a silver dress clash with a gold wedding?

Absolutely not unless the dress is totally bedazzled in silver beading everywhere and very prominent. Otherwise, you can get away with mixing metals for your accessories and no matter what dress you pick it will not clash with a gold themed decor!

If your dress had prominent silver beading on it like mine does then I would say it would clash. But if it's subtle sequins and beading (there are dresses with clear beads and white/opal beading) I don't see why it wouldn't go! My dress has Swarovski crystals on them and there's definitely a silver tone to it.

No, the bride does not need to match the decor. In any event, metals such as silver and gold are viewed as neutral and can mix well together. My accessories were silver but my colors were burgundy and gold.

Mismatched metals aren't really a bad thing, and personally, I like silver better with wedding gowns anyways. If you don't match your bridesmaids, I think you'll stand out rather than clash.

I have the same colors and also am getting married in the summer! Have you decided on any decor yet? We’re debating still what color my FH should wear with gold , navy and red being our colors.
