Do you wear your engagement ring to the alter?

I wore mine on my left hand and just switched the order when we went into the bridal suite after the ceremony.

Most women move their engagement ring to their right hand before the processional. They move it back after the wedding band is placed close to your heart.

My wedding band is a guard and the engagement ring has to be placed inside so I'll wear nothing and have fh put both on my ring finger at the alter

I meant to move mine but I forgot. I just flipped it around after the ceremony.

I thought I would just put it on my right hand but my ring won't fit on my right hand so FH is just gonna put both rings on my finger at the same time.

I wore mine, put it on my pinky right before DH grabbed my hand then put it on after he placed my band. It took 2 seconds and wasn't awkward at all. I wanted to wear it and have them in the right order.

I just wore my e-ring and he put the band on top of it. After the ceremony I flipped them around. It worked out perfectly.

I will be wearing my engagement ring on my other hand due to the fact that my band is wide and is not the same color or metal as my engagement ring

I'm not sure what I am going to do with mine. It doesn't fit on my right hand and I have two wedding bands to put on :/

I'll be wearing mine on my left hand because it doesn't fit on my right. He'll just put the band on top of it and I'll flip it later.

I didn't wear a ring. My wedding bands were enhancers for my e-ring. DH put whole thing on at the altar.

Thank you for asking us I didn't realize that the wedding band went closer to the hand that the engagement ring I thought it went on the engagement ring so that's going to help me pick out my wedding band cuz I've been looking at them online I'm like wait a minute that's doesn't look right so this helps thank you

My wedding band is a wrap, so I had it and the engagement ring soldered together and DH put them on in one piece. Before I decided on a wrap, I had planned to wear the engagement ring on my right hand during the ceremony.

I wore mine on my right, but my Husband saw it and thought it was my left hand. I had to switch hands pretty quickly, and it caused a little chuckle during the ceremony.

I was planning to switch mine to my right hand but totally forgot, so H put my band over my e-ring. i switched them around after the ceremony. i sometimes wear my e-ring below my wedding band anyway because i like the way it looks.
