I don't have a wedding planner book, but I compile all the receipts and contracts from vendors, make my own timeline, guests lists, etc. All I have is a binder.

I just use the checklist from Wedding Wire and altered a few things. You are able to add/delete based on what you need and saves paper. Plus since it's online I can access it anywhere. I don't think I could keep track of everything without some type of guide but that's just me and my terrible memory.

No. I filled out some things on WeddingWire and it's great but there are some fields where only American places or vendors can be filled in so I left it. Most of the planning was done before I started here. You could use a folder or envelope for physical receipts and contracts and WeddingWire for the online stuff

I did not hire a planer but I have made myself checklists and timelines to try to stay organize and make sure I'm not forgetting anything.

Since I had a relatively small budget and needs, I did not have a wedding planner. Instead, I made a google sheets online wedding planning system. One page had my budget, one checklist, one guest address book, seating chart, etc. It was so useful since I could access it anywhere and drag & drop anything I needed to edit.

I have a binder that I made. It keeps all of my notes, contracts, guest list, checklist, inspo, and calendar.

Sure do! I was gifted one that already had sheets and tabs in the binder to help me stay organized. I also printed out about 2-3 different checklists to make sure I didn't forget anything, and have been using those to stay on track with my planning.

I have a few running spreadsheets, but we also have planning software from our coordinator that's been super helpful. It has checklists, timelines, forms to help you with things like photo requests, dj song selections, etc.
