Do you tip for the trial?

I already signed a contract with my stylist/make-up artist and made a deposit. I am going in for my trial soon which I will pay for at that time. I will obviously tip on the day of the wedding, but am I supposed to tip for my trial?

I did, you would typically tip at a salon so I would tip for the trial as well.

So do we still tip if 100% of the payment goes to the artist? I have a makeup lady that isn’t from a salon but a contractor.

Mine is the same and only does weddings. I am going to tip since it's her main source of income and I think it's just common courtesy of a job well done.
