Do you think this dress is too flashy for a wedding guest outfit?

It sort of depends. The dress is beautifully shaped but the color is so bright that it may draw too much attention to you. If this is what you own and not ready to buy another, that could be okay. If others will be in bright colorful outfits, then you will fit in. So it depends some on the general tone of the wedding event. Probably after all those details, the dress would be fine since it really is the wedded couple who will be the focus of the wedding. Maybe others here will share some additional ideas.

I think that color would be fine to wear as a guest to a wedding, but when it's combined with the shimmer and that amount of fabric, it seems quite bright, and you might stand out a little more among the rest of the guests. It would not have bothered me if a guest at my wedding wore that dress, though if you're questioning whether it's too flashy for your friend's wedding, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider a different dress.
