Do you text your in-laws?

I’m very close with my in laws my fmil and I text daily most of the day and I spend some days with her and ffil while fh is at work. Fsils and I are very close as well! I’m close with one fbil but the rest have very busy lives. Fh is one of 8 kids.

When we were dating his mom and sister gave me a hard time! Now tht we’re engaged me and sister still don’t get along, and i really don’t care anymore. But his mom, we have an awesome relationship! I almost talk to her as much as my own mom, and she’s always calling me or sending crazy txt messages lol. She just had to get to know me first.

Sometimes, I'm in a family group chat with them. FMIL tries to reach out sometimes but she usually texts me after I've gone to bed and then I don't get to answer because I have to go to work in the morning. So when I can, yeah. I'm friends with FSIL on Snapchat and IG.

Never, while we have a friendly relationship it's not to the point where I text her. She does call me occasionally to talk about wedding stuff.

I absolutely love my in-loves and we are always in communication. His mom and I talk as frequently as my mom and I. I also talk to several other of his family members.

Yes we talk a lot they know we have our hands full with our 2 year old amd our 10 month old twins so they text every now and then

Oh yeah, all the time. I text his mom and sister almost every other day. We're always either talking about the wedding or making plans for the weekend.

I never text my in-laws. I have no need to do so.

My in laws seem to be closer to me than my own family 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have always had an great relationship with my FMIL. We text and call each other all the time. I'm so thankful that I found a man that I like his mother and get a long. My EX-MIL the moment I first met that woman I didn't like her and that never changed for the 7 years I was married to her son and still to this day I can't stand her.

I'll text my FMIL about wedding things or things I think she'd enjoy on a semi-regular basis (once every few weeks or so). I only will text FFIL if I have a question that FMIL can't answer (addresses for his side of the family, etc.), but he pretty much stays to himself so I don't have regular conversations with him. I was just recently added to the family group text, mainly because FH isn't very good about sharing dates and things for family events, but there are definitely days I wish I wasn't! (Like today when I was trying to teach a math lesson and by the time I finished and looked at my phone at recess, I had 19 missed messages from the thread about nothing that held much importance. Haha.)

Sometimes. I dont text them a lot, and I typically let my FH be the POC for his family, but I have a great relationship with my in laws and feel comfortable communicating with them.

I sometimes text my future mother in law but we aren't super close. I dont really see her without my fiance there too.

Sometimes. I'm pretty close to my FMIL, so we text regularly, but I don't text my FFIL very often.

Very close to MIL, getting closer to FIL, have no idea what in the heck SIL thinks of me. We were just there today actually...

They live super close, so we see them a lot. It's great, I really, really love MIL. I feel very lucky, she's a super cool person.

I do have a text thread with MIL and FIL, but she's not the best at texting. We interact on FB, though!

Sometimes but not often. I'll send her pics and tell her I used a ton of garlic(she's obsessed with using a ton of garlic) but I don't text her often.

FMIL, yes. FFIL can barely work a phone let alone text lol
