Do you text your in-laws?

Our parents have both passed away. He doesn't talk to anyone in my family much, but he works a lot. I do text with his kids, and his siblings once in awhile

I text my FMIL all the time 🤣 I like to think I’m the daughter she never had. Sometimes I’ll text his brothers but that’s more on a rare occasion.

Never, we don’t have that kind of relationship.

I don't have my soon to be inlaw number and I've been wondering if I should have it or not?

We text either daily or every other day. We’re in a few different group texts through my FH family so that everyone is always in the loop. My family barely communicates so it’s fun to now be apart of a family that is close and really cares about how your day is going.

She doesn’t text, but we do email and call each other occasionally.

Yess all the time, it’s more with my FMIL sometimes it’s a little too much, but I wouldn’t have it any other way

Yea but mostly when they can’t get ahold of him or want to invite us somewhere and he hasn’t answered

Not really. My in laws live up the road from us so we see them basically everyday lol

Sometimes. His mom will send me random "how are you" texts and we'll catch up. But for the most part, I don't talk to them very often.

I text my MIL, but I also call her. I have called his Dad, but it was brief. I'm not afraid to contact them at all.

Eh, we used to be close when we were just dating, but over the years his folks have been very ... uncivilized to put it lightly... and they tend to assume that they're right and will never admit when they've done something wrong .. I don't like how they treat my FH, and rather than cause grief with them as my FH still wants a good relationship with them, I don't talk to them if I don't have to.

After reading the responses to this prompt, I can't tell you how grateful I am that someone else isn't close to their FILs..

I just texted my FBIL a few minutes ago. Our relationship is good. Haven’t texted my FSIL in a while. We barely talk and see each other, she’s in another state.

Occasionally. I babysit his niece and nephew 2-3 days each week so we see plenty of eachother and get along pretty well.

I do communicate with the in laws via text or phone calls.

Unless it something on Facebook, it’s rare to be in contact. Nothing wrong, we get along just fine! They are across the country; we both talk to in-laws when we’re talking to either one.

I text my Future In Laws a lot. We have an awesome relationship & I'm the daughter they never had (3 Sons)
