Sometimes I do text his parents. Usually to see if they received a gift.

Never. And I have all of them blocked on all social media.
If I never had to deal with them again at all, it would be too soon.
There is zero relationship there and I am glad for it.

I have a good relationship w my in laws. It wasn’t until leading up to the wedding we talked more . And here and there after . My father in law kind of went overboard , but it’s just because he’s happy and had such a great time at our wedding meeting family and just being there .
