Do you text your in-laws?

What's your relationship like with your future in-laws? Are you so close with your sister or mother in-law that you text regularly? Are you in a family group chat?? Or is your communication more "in case of emergencies only"? Do you text your in-laws? Never, always, or sometimes? Next Question: Do...

Sometimes/always. His family is fairly large and his parents retired out of state a couple of years ago so they group text with the family often. I am in a fantasy football league with FSIL, FMIL, Future Aunt in law so the fantasy league texts pretty often. One FBIL lives with us. I text FSIL about wedding stuff because I am trying to be better about connecting with his family. I have started to text FMIL about wedding stuff again to try and bridge the gap.

Sometimes. I get called out in it all the time. But it’s not something I do- not even to my own parents. Gotta work in that!

Yes, I have a good relationship with basically all of his family. I text with most of them on a weekly basis at minimum.

This is a tough one.. We had ALOT of problems with my in laws and the fact that they did not like me and tried everything to keep us apart. So back then absolutely never. Now sometimes if they need something or need to get in touch with my fiance. Not really to talk to me.

Sometimes. My mother in law doesn’t text so we have to call her. My father in law sends messages on FB messenger. We both pretty much keep up with the in-laws on facebook.

My in laws? No, I don't text them. I suppose I would if I really needed to, but we don't actually text at all. I don't really know any of them all that well, yet anyway!

On occasion. Actually kinda rarely. Dont have much to say that doesn't get said whenever we go over (we usually make weekly trips to visit for a while)

Our relationship is great but we never really have anything to talk about so sometimes I do if I really need to.

I have not texted either. I’ll have an occasional Facebook message to FMIL, but it’s usually about upcoming family get togethers.

Sometimes. I’m friends with his sister and dad. We don’t text daily but I send his dad (who lives out of state) pictures of the kids and such.

My FMIL and I text every now and then. I'm not really into texting/calling (I just forget and I'm very busy!), but we're very close and do stuff together when she visits or when we visit! My FFIL does not text at all. We're pretty close, but only talk when he visits/we visit.

Lol, we are not close. I try to avoid them. I don’t even have my FFIL nor FBILs phone numbers.
I only text my FMIL when I’m traveling with my FH to let her know we arrived to our destination or our home safely.

My MIL fb msgs me way more than my fiance. I also chat with my SIL and her husband fairly regular. I also love that our parents message each other all the time.

I text my FMIL & FSIL all the time separately and together. I'm also in all the family group chats. MY FSIL is like the older sister I've always wanted.

I don't really have any future in-laws, as both of my FH's parents abandoned him when he was younger and haven't reached out since. Sometimes I read in-law horror stories and feel mildly grateful (then feel HORRIBLE for feeling that way), but really I just feel sad that my FH didn't grow up with the love and support I did (and that everyone deserves) and so thankful that my family has welcomed him with open arms and an abundance of love since day 1.
