Do you really not eat at your wedding?

@Ab, that's what I was thinking too and that's why this post is so interesting. If the bridal party is served first, how can they not eat? I'm going to eat.

@Kate haha HANGRY!... I get "Grumpy Hungry" and FH knows I mean business. I am eating... we specifically have plenty of time between the church and reception so we can do photos and then attend and inhale our cocktail hour.

FH's little brother and I make game plans for cocktail hour when we go to weddings haha. We need to eat all of the amazing food and let each other know what you absolutely have to take some of.

I LOVE FOOD!

P.s. I've already decided that for breakfast when we are getting ready, I'm having a porkroll egg and cheese on a kaiser roll, and at least one shot of Jameson. I am going to eat and drink all freaking day and love every second of it.

SHIIIIIT, I'm eating. It may be rude or whatever, but I'll be damned if I'm not eating, drinking, or partying. If you wanna talk to me, come to my table, lol.

Honestly, I didn't. I didn't have a long reception though. If I had ate, I wouldn't have been able to great everyone.

I'm totally eating. We're doing a receiving line so it will eliminate us from having to go table to table. Score!

We are freaking eating! lol Or better. We will be served first and people can hear their thank you's from me on the dance floor lol.

Oh I plan on eating. We are setting it up where the head table will be served plated food (just so we don't have to go through the line), and we will eat while the rest of the group will will go through the buffet line. Should give us 15-20 mins to eat before we go visiting.

This is pretty off topic but I have to share.

Red Lobster now sells their cheddar bay biscuit mix at Walmart and I made them last night and HOLY SHIT.

My FH and I have put a 15 minute break between the ceremony and out reception entrance so we can eat dinner together and bask in the newlywedness. We are eating our dinner alone in the cabin that were getting married next to and the joining everyone at the reception.

We ate. I made sure I ate during cocktail hour because I knew I would be too excited to eat during our reception and I was right on the money.

My MOH has already told me that she is making sure there are snacks for me during the day (she is packing a bag of stuff) and that if we are with ppl and not getting a chance to eat she is going to pull FH and I away and make us eat. LOL. I figure with her there I don't have to worry.

You can ask ppl in your wedding party to make sure they grab food for you and pull u aside to make sure you eat that day

We ate at ours! We had a buffet and as soon as we sat down the event coordinator brought over our plates that had a little bit of everything on them. I ate like crazy, I was pretty hungry and knew it was best if I was going to be downing some winess. We ate in like 6 minutes, then started mingling..so happy we did. Food was da bomb.

We ate everything except cocktail hour food. And it was all delicious.
