It was in the Spring of 2012 when Caleb and Sarah were introduced by mutual friends, Kaylie and Cody. Sarah's friend Kaylie started dating Caleb's friend and roommate Cody. They devised a secret plan to bring Caleb to one of the weekly Chi Alpha meetings, TNL: Thursday Night Live, so he could meet Sarah. One day at lunch Sarah was talking to Kaylie and figured out the secret plan, and she was nervous the rest of the week. The Thursday when TNL rolled around Sarah couldn't think straight she was so nervous. As soon and she saw Caleb and Cody approaching she ran inside Bennett Chapel. Kaylie finally came and got her and tried to introduce her to Caleb but she was so nervous that she looked at the familiar face next Caleb while being introduced. They didn't have any interaction the rest of the night outside of blowing a straw wrapper at each other at Buffalo Wild Wings. Three days later Sarah invited Kaylie, Cody and Caleb over to watch a movie. Sarah and Caleb talked more and came to realize that they had a lot in common. The next week at TNL Caleb came again. He and Sarah stayed in the parking lot afterwards talking and getting rained on until 2 in the morning. If you ask Caleb he says that the night ended with Sarah driving off and leaving him in the rain before he could say good bye. Sarah's side of the story goes a little different. She says she paused at her door so he could say good by but he didn't and she wasn't going to stand their awkwardly in the rain waiting for him to. The next day Caleb Facebook messaged Sarah asking for her phone number and she gave it to him. Little did she know Cody was encouraging Caleb to observe the "Three Day Rule". The Three Day Rule was not observed for long because Caleb texted her the next day. 10 days after their first meeting and without even going on a first date yet Caleb asked Sarah if he could call her his girlfriend and she said yes. At the time she had no idea how much of an impact on her life that moment would have.
