Do you really need a wedding band?

That is a gorgeous ring. you don't need a wedding band. some women on here just wear their engagement ring as the wedding band. i personally don't wear my engagement ring, i only wear my wedding band. so you obviously don't need both rings.

I say if you don't want a separate band then no worries. You don't need one. Don't worry about what others think, they aren't the one wearing the ring. People wear just the band all the time so I see no reason as to why it wouldn't be okay to wear the diamond ring. By the way that band is GORGEOUS! He did a great job!! And I love the story behind the diamond as well!

My friend doesn’t wear a wedding band at all, only her e ring. She’s been married to her husband who doesn’t wear a band either for almost 10 years! It’s all completely up to you

Nope! That’s gorgeous on its own. I only wear my e-ring. I don’t like the look of two bands.

I notice a lot of people wear one or the other, so don't feel strange for wanting to just wear your engagement ring full time.


If you want a wedding band for the sake of exchanging something at the alter, you can buy an inexpensive ring (costume jewlery) for a few dollars and then never wear it again.

I have a wedding band that I love, but you definitely don't have to have one. My mom, who's been married to my dad for almost 39 years, never got a wedding band because she loved the way her engagement ring looked like on its own.

Your ring is gorgeous! I’m also probably not getting a wedding band because I like my engagement ring so much and not sure a wedding band would look good with it. For the ceremony, I may use my grandmother’s wedding band.
