We really don't want to do the maid of honor, bestman and groomsmen thing?

It’s not essential to have a wedding party and if you don’t really want to don’t feel the need to ask someone just because you feel obligated.

You can make the rules for your wedding. If you dont want a wedding party...dont have one!

No you definitely don't need one.

But during the ceremony you might want someone to hand your bouquet to and someone to fix your train (usually a Maid of Honor task).

You also will need someone to hand you the rings and be the witness signature on you marriage license (usually a best man task).

Nope. We didn’t have one. No extra cost, stress or drama for anyone. You can still get ready with special friends if you want. My mom, sister & I got ready together, and enjoyed a bit of bubbly & bites. Perfect.

You are free to do what you want. No bridal party, no drama, less expenses.

Of course not. I guarantee you will be legally married at the end of the day, and the people who love you will be there. The reception will be just as nice.

Nope! Not needed. And if you still wanna have a bachellorette bachelor party with some friends, that'd be fine too. Just be more budget conscious, feel out your crowd for if they're cool chipping in or if they are expecting you to foot the bill, and act accordingly. But a fun hangout at somebodys house with pizzas and beers wont put you back much at all, and can be even more fun than traditional things with the right crowd!
