Do you need a Dj at your wedding?

DJ's are more than just the music. They set the tone and transition through the timeline appropriately. Also if the technology messes up (as it often does) you have a professional to quickly fix the problem.

Besides, the DJ is trained to not just play the songs, but pick music to fit the crowd and keep the party moving, plus they are often a huge part of moving things along such as announcing the bridal party, dinner, and other things!

I'd say a DJ, or band, should be a high priority hire for a wedding.

DJ can read the crowd...figure out when to change to another song and give announcements
