Do you ever take your ring off?

I only take it off to clean it. I know it probably scratches my ring to sh!t, but I can't take it off or I have mini-heart attacks when I realize it isn't on my finger..until I remember why, but it still freaks me out too much to take it off.

I take mine off to shower and when I'm working out. I've been swimming in an indoor chlorinated pool and I'd hate to think what might happen! I usually carry my ring box with me if I'm going to the gym and toss it in there till I'm done.

I take mine off when showering (sometimes), bathing the baby (so it's doesn't scratch him), doing dishes, putting on lotion and putting hair products in my hair...

I am like you Mrs. Murdie. I can't take mine off without panicking. I feel naked with out it. The only time its off is when I do facials and I put lotion on.

I only take mine off when i shower and play sports. you;ll get used to it fast, adn then it will feel strange when you dont have it on.

I take mine off to shower, cook, clean, and work out. I also can't sleep in my E-ring because the prongs get stuck in my hair, Lol. But after the weddnig, I'll sleep in my band, I'm sure. No prongs! : )

I never take mine off, you will get use to it. October Bride is right it will feel strange when you do take it off. When I brought my rings to have them cleaned at the jeweler- that whole 10 minutes I felt like I was missing something.

Only when I am dealing with ground beef, relaxing my hair or hands fell swollen.

I did in the beginning when I slept or showered, but now I just clean it often. I did take it off when I went tubing.

I take my e-ring off when I wash my hair because the shampoo makes it slip off my finger and I don't want it to go down the drain. Other than that, it's always on. :-) FS originally got it too big so I had it resized and it fits perfectly now so during my normal day-to-day I don't worry about it coming off too much.

I haven't worn my E-Ring in over 3 months because one of the stones is loose. It took me a while to get use to it not being on I kept thinking it fell off and I lost it.

Working out or sleeping. Ever tried doing crunches with it on? It hurts!

I take it off to shower or clean certain things. I feel naked too if im not wearing it! I wash/clean it everyday too that way stuff doesnt collect and get stuff inbetween the band/diamonds

It did feel weird at 1st---but you get use to it...ive had mine since aug 7th and im already use to it

I take mine off to sleep, wash my hands, showering, anything that uses water basically. I fell asleep with it on one time and I hate doing it, because I'm afraid of losing a gem or something, even though mine is only CZ

I take it off When I shower (afraid of it coming off and falling down the drain) and when I sleep.

I take mine off when I'm washing dishes, cleaning, showering and sleeping I don't sleep with an of my jewerly on. But you know what cleans your jewerly very well - Ammonia, just pour a little in a small container and place your jewerly inside for a few seconds, dry off and it looks a good a the day it was brought.

I only take mine off to shower. But currently I dont have mine because it is being soldered together. I don't get it back until 10/9/10

I take mine off at home, unless we have guests, at the gym, and when putting on lotion at my desk. I have never showered with it on, but I find washing my hands and soaping up the ring keeps it shinier (It is a solitaire). And I have never slept with it on.

I take mine off (for safety reasons) whenever I'm working with machinery and shop-tools. Other than that, it stays on. After 21 years, my wife still expects me to have it on in public. I guess the ring is supposed to keep other ladies from hitting on me. LOL Strange...that never seemed to happen even before I got married... Anyway, my wife takes off her engagment ring all the time, but she leaves the wedding band on always.

I take mine off when I'm showering or doing heavy cleaning or have a fear that it may get lost if I'm doing something. Occasionally at night I'll take it off because its bothering me but thats very seldom! I feel very weird without it on now!
