Do vendors usually send payment reminders?

Mine did not sent reminders. I actually had to remind them. Ya 2 in 2 months is little too much! One 2 weeks before probably would have sufficed!

They're running a business too and want to make sure they get paid. It's two in 2 months not like 2 in a week.

I would find this helpful. I'm super stressed about missing a payment. I made a chart of when I need to pay more deposits. I would love reminders!

Reminders or invoices would have been nice. I'm very organized so I had a spreadsheet of outstanding payments, the type (check/credit card), the amount mad the date due. I can see how some people would forget to pay certain vendors. None of mine reminded me.

I wish mine would send reminders.

It may be due to what others have done. They may have recently had someone skip out on their payments and cause an awful situation for them.

No not at all. They don't even want payment until the day of the wedding. I plan on paying them way in advance, of course.

I hope mine send reminders... all of my payments are due at different times.

ETA also some people need a few days to transfer money from another bank or account to their checking account...

They've probably had people not pay and complain about not knowing when it was due, so now they're overly cautious.

My venue sends me monthly invoices for my monthly payments and I love it.

My caterer did and my entertainment group but I think they are just used to crazed brides. Plus some people want to pay early and split up the payments so that you don't end up paying so much at the wedding.

My venue said they will usually call and leave a message a couple days before your payment is due, they never actually have though since i pay the payments really early since i have so many different payments to do for the wedding

I love getting my reminders, but that's just me.

I wouldn't take it personally. Imagine some of the people who aren't paying in a timely matter.

I would also love the reminder. I'm constantly trying to pay vendors!

Mine haven't, but I wish they would have!! I booked everyone so long ago I can't even remember when payments are due lol.

Ugh I wish mine would. I've literally been trying to get our venue to take the second half of our deposit ($3000!!!) since last Wednesday. Like seriously....please take my money!! If this is any indication of how the wedding will go, I'm terrified...I can't even give them money! Luckily they have great reviews...so Hopefully it will get better.

Only my uplifting did this. But I think it was all electronic because he had a portal like where I can view by contract etc. I don't think he personally sent the reminders it was like automatic once you're in their system.
