Do moms need to match?

We originally planned to have moms wear Korean traditional dresses.. but when we went to try them on, my FH's mom didn't really like it very much. So now she wants to find a new dress to wear, which means my mom also has to find one for her too.. The dresses they each found does not match at all. I honestly don't care what they wear. But do moms usually try to match their dresses?

I don't think it matters. I asked mine to wear a certain color, only because they asked me to pick. So they will have the same color but not the same dress.

Nope. Matching isnt necessary. We told our moms to wear whatever they wanted, and if they wanted to coordinate that's on them.
My mom wore plum and my MIL wore navy.

It doesn't matter- we told our moms the color palette and they're welcome to find what they'd like to wear.

No actually I do not think they usually try to. I do not think my mom would want to anyway because she is so extra she would want to stand out ahah. But you know it is kind of a cute idea for them to match but it is not necessary.

I think moms' intend not to match at all... At least mine aren't. They specifically asked each other what colors they were going for so they weren't the same!
