Do i need to send separate thank yous for hosting a shower and giving a gift?

I had 4 of my fiance's aunts plan and host a shower together for me. I have a thank you gift for each of them. Most of them also gave me gifts at the shower as well. Can I thank them for the gifts they gave me in the same thank you card where I thank them for hosting the shower?

Typically the hostess gift is given the day of the shower. Since it's already passed, I would just give them the hostess gift and thank you card at the same time.

I think you should combine it, but be sure to mention both things they did for you in the card specifically.

Yes, thanking them for hosting the shower as well as the gift in the same card is completely fine.

I didn't even know this, but to be fair, i wasn't planning on having one. My wedding is less than 40 people. What are the gift options? I have no idea what to give my fmil. She is the one throwing it for me.

It doesn't have to be elaborate. A nice bottle of wine or a gift card would be fine. Here's an article with lots of ideas.
