Do I need to do a wedding party entrance?

Nope. When people do it I usually use the time to visit the bar or the ladies room.

No. We had our DJ recognize our bridal party from their seats as dinner was starting and only DH and I were introduced to a song.

We didn't do one. Everyone just walked in normally. I find it strange, silly, and too "show-ish."

Okay good!! Yeah I imagine they'll just walk in with the rest of the guests. I am sure we'll do group pictures first so they can go enjoy cocktail hour if they want. I like the idea of having a shout out from the DJ. Thank you!

@MelissaErin I love this idea!! I've felt extremely awkward every time I've been included in a bp entrance, so it will be great to spare my bp the experience.

I'm so glad someone asked cause I have been dreading the grand entrance thing. We are having cocktail hour with our guest and then we will get seated first when the reception area is ready.

@beezie same here! And the last two I was in the bride and groom asked us to do a little dance and it was so awk.

No. Our wedding party didn't want it and would have been mortified to have that much attention directed at them. We also skipped it for ourselves.
