@LaKessia, are the robes gifts or are you requiring the bp to wear them for photos? Because that wouldn't be considered a gift.

    @MRSFG, please. Just please.

@irmine, you found someone to validate you, you're all set!

Lily, it's still a dress they're required to wear, even if they pick it out.

    Yay Lily!

Its incredibly generous that you are paying for dresses and hair and makeup but you still want to thank them for their time and support. A beautiful hand written thank you and something small (a charm, a journal, a gift card, etc) is a great way to say that.

Thanks for the humorous post. I needed the pick me up.

Get your BM something, doesn't have to be expensive.

Just try something small, but thoughtful. A

pair of earrings or a necklace with their initials. It's the thought that counts... Smiley smile

@TinaBoBina I shared what I purchased to be helpful. The robes are not personalized with anything wedding related so I do think they are a "GIFT". Yes I hope they wear them that morning while we are getting makeup & hair done and of course we will be taking pics. However, Its not a requirement because we can take pics in whatever and still have a great time & look great. Remember.... we all view things differently. It may not be the norm for you but that's what I chose! I've seen so many other brides do this though, You Tube videos and so many forums on this sooooo....to each its own! We all are entitled to our opinions hun!

I'm getting each of my bridesmaids something. I have four as well.

Your bridesmaids have given up their time to be a part of your special day and have had to buy their dresses and accessories. The least you could do is give them a gift

LaKessia- Is that all they are getting? If so I hope it doesn't say bridesmaid or anything like that. If so its a prop for your pictures.

@OP yes surely it IS worth all that much. You just proved that you are cheap and the girls you chose to stand up next to you aren't "worth all that much" to you if you can't even thank them properly.

    Inexpensive BM gifts...

    1. Custom hangers...I DIYed them

    2. Hangover kits...aspirin...water...banana...sunglasses

    3. Spa kits...lotion...lip gloss...sugar scrub

    4. custom flip flops

Go to Five Below, the Dollar Store, Burlington, Ross...gifts dont have to be expensive...just thoughtful.

I jokingly gave the BMs that helped me address invites lip gloss so they could refresh their lips as they licked envelopes...FYI we had glue sticks.

I'm a believer in "my wedding, my expense", so I took care of all expenses regarding the MOH/BM's. But I also gave them a little something personal to say thank you for standing with me and for any help they offered during the planning, which they didn't have to do. So yes, thank them. Especially if you've place a financial burden on them to be in your wedding. It's the very least you can do to show your appreciation.

We are doing gifts for the whole bridal party (4 each per side, plus the Master & Mistress of Ceremonies). Monogrammed flask gift sets for the guys (on sale on Amazon for $14.99/set) and personalized blankets for the girls (on sale on personalizationmall.com for $20.95 each) - We're getting married the middle of Sept at a camping/ranch venue and we're all very low key... I wanted to get them something to keep them toasty warm, inside and out! Smiley winking

Yes, I would at least do a hand written card and maybe a nice photo of you with each girl in a pretty frame. You can get cute frames at TJ Maxx for around 7 dollars or so. Doesn't have to be expensive just something to show your appreciation! Smiley smile
