Do any of you have experience with Blue Nile floating diamond wedding ring?

I fell in love with the floating diamond wedding ring at Blue Nile, but when I showed my mom, she had concerns with the safety of the diamonds? Do any of you have any experience with this ring and how it holds up?

I bought mine from James Allen when it was on sale. The diamonds sit in gold underneath so the diamonds are protected. No issues whatsoever
