Diy wedding.

Hey ladies, I wanted to give y’all some hope in diy weddings. We got married last year in July & we did a lot of diy! Along with how we saved some money!

Here’s a list of anyone needs ideas we looked at yard sales, thrift stores along with what our family had left over from weddings, party’s, or just left over craft stuff.
1. metal buckets but wrapped it in craft rope with left over lace.2. Dollar tree or handmade signs (MR & MRS) 3. Bubbles, cups, fake pearls, banner (got all this from dollar tree depending where you go)4. Fake led candles (these were placed on the circled wood on our tables & down the aisle along with flowers in the buckets -absolutely beautiful!)5. We had our family’s byob & I had some people help & bring some ice chest along with drinks & snacks.6. Get you a vendor that will have & serve food there, that saved me a-lot of money & it was good 😊 7. Depends on who you are but I didn’t get a isle runner (didn’t need it)8. We had coloring books & bubbles for the kiddos (if you want kids at your wedding)9. Got my daughters flower girl dress , her shoes, my shoes & my necklace from Amazon (saved a ton of &dollarSmiley winking 10. If you want your hair up get a hair donut ( I was a dancer so I had 3 on hand but you can get them at Sally’s, Amazon, Walmart)
I also had a family member that is good at hair do my hair it was free & looked beautiful. I only had a professional do my makeup & I about cried cause my eyebrows were so dark - so pick your makeup artist wisely 😂
There might be more but I can’t remember at the moment I hope this helped you save some type of money lol!

We got galvanized metal buckets and I spray pained them navy blue with gold glitter (our colors) for a total of 10$. Flower girl baskets were about 22 each!

That sounds so pretty! My grandma likes to make stuff so she made our flower girl basket with a rust orange bow which was on of our colors ☺️
