I need help. I've never done anything like this before and I have no idea where to start. Any helpful hints? I've seen several different invites that I like but it's not what I'm picturing in my head. Please help

Have you tried looking at Etsy or Mint?

Yeah, I've tried several sites. I just can't find one I really like. So I figured I would make my own invites. I just don't know what I'm doing

We modeled ours after these. We put the text on vellum and used one of our engagement photos behind it. They were a lot of work, but they turned out really well! My fiancé printed them on my printer using his desktop (since the chrome book prints were not as nice.) He did the design work and then he cut them with a paper cutter. We assembled them together and then I addressed all the envelopes and mailed them. I don’t know if it would have been cheaper to buy them, but we had fun working on them together!!

We used Etsy, if you find a template you love they’re fairly cheap and then it’s instant download so you change all the information to make it fit to your details and then you print them. I have used gotprint.com for all my printing needs for the big day. Got print is soooo cheap but the quality is amazing. Our guest list had 620 on it, so naturally we thought our invites would be one of the most expensive things but with got print we were able to print 500 invites and details pages for 98 dollars!

If you have a printer, or know someone who does, I used greetingsisland.com. We made our save the dates with the colors of our wedding and printed them on a glitter card stock paper I found at Walmart. They turned out perfect. I’m also making our invitations and rsvp cards from the website as well.
