Hell yeah! Making your own dress is so cool! We have a non traditional wedding. Don’t worry about if it doesn’t work for others, worry about if it works for you!

Who cares if it's "too non-traditional?" if you love it, that's what matters. I would keep the option open to buy an emergency plan B dress just in case though (since you never can know what will go wrong with DIYing a dress) Best of luck to you guys

View Quoted Comment We are getting married in a brewery (okay, we’re getting married at the courthouse the day before but having a ceremony in a brewery). No traditional dances, cake cutting, etc. Doing pics before the ceremony together and walking down the aisle to the acoustic version of a rock song.
