diy Backyard Wedding Woodwork

Just about 2 months before the wedding and things are finally starting to come together. We have DIYed almost everything for the entire wedding, from the venue (future in law's back yard), to the bridge where we will take our one-on-one shots, to the arch, fence, dance floor, planting flowers, etc. I also tried the staining/weathering wood with apple cider vinegar and steel wool. It works! Check out the wood on the bridge, arch, and fence! Our entire wedding budget was $8,000 including rings, dress, alterations, catering, decor, and alcohol. So far, we're on track to come in below budget. I'm amazed. Hopefully these pics can help inspire others to take on DIY projects or at least feel free to be themselves and have a personal touch. My fiance and I did all the building together after work and on weekends. It was a great experience for us.
I'll start a new thread with more pictures once I start to unpack the boxes of raw materials and assemble decor. I'm most excited for the bridal lace curtains I'm sewing that will go in/behind the arch and the fresh eucalyptus garland that will drape across the top of the fence line.
