What are you wearing to your shower?

Haha, I am not exciting at all. If I don't show up in jeans and a t-shirt, I will probably just wear a dress I already have. I would LIKE to go shopping, but we're trying to save money everywhere, so....I sacrificed a nice shower dress, so I could get a new dress to wear leaving the reception. Good luck finding something!!

My shower is casual and low-key and will be held in June so I'm planning to get a cute summer dress.

No clue what you'll get is part of the fun but be guided by how splashy it is going to be. Also, if time (and/or funds) will be limiting factors on your trip, I would suggest doing some homework to know what stores are in the area in and around where you'll be staying that cater to your style and budget.

@Holly, I'm totally a jeans and a t-shirt girl too! Hmm, I haven't thought about a dress to wear for leaving the reception. I guess I assumed I'd leave in my wedding dress, what kind of dress are wearing to leave your reception in?

I haven't picked out a leaving the reception dress - I just know I REFUSE to wear the main dress because it is HUGE, lol. I have a few ideas, but I was thinking of sticking to white and going for a short, halter dress.

I like the idea of sticking to white but having it be a short dress, I think that will be really cute!

My shower was a surprise, but FH and my mom coordinated getting a new favorite dress I bought for our honeymoon to the venue, and they had me change after I got there. Got it from Macy's and can't wait to wear it again.

I'm not sure yet what my shower will be like, we just may have it small and low key at my house..but at any rate I'll wear a dress that has like a gray pencil skirt bottom attached to a ivory chiffon blouse thing lol sorry i don't have a pic right now..or i may wear a more casual dress lol not sure yet!

I am not a big dressy girl so I am probably going to buy me a nice shirt to wear (that is work appropriate cause I work earlier that day and won't have time to go home and change).

I think that it depends on the nature of your shower. I had my first shower yesterday and I wore a sun dress. But there will be more showers and some of them will be jeans and a nice top. Talk to the host and ask about theme or feel he/she is going for and base outfits off that.

I love getting dressed up and will use any excuse, so while many of the guests at my showers will wear jeans and a nice top, I think I will be getting this dress. I am so in love with it.

Not sure, since mine is a ways off (obviously) But I have the sneaky suspicion my MOH is going to make me wear a dress.

For my shower I will be wearing the very chic yet bohemian white linen/ribbon/eyelet lace dress I bought for my California civil ceremony in two weeks. Will be wearing a 'real' gown for our large wedding back in NY for family in mid september.

Chances are slim I'll even have a shower where I'll be physically present (believe me I'm not one bit happy) .... but if for some reason I do get to be at my own shower ... I'll probably buy a cute white sundress ....

I actually had my legal ceremony the day of our shower (we got married 2 weeks later in Mexico and too many rules to do it down there). So I ended up dressing up

If I show up wearing anything but jeans and a t shirt they are most likely to stop and run me to the emergency room. I would love to wear a cute little dress but the shower is Saturday and I own 2 dresses One is the one I wore to last years christmas party and the other is my wedding dress so I think I'm gonna find a nice pair of jeans and a new shirt. We will have see tomorrow when I get to go near a store that has dresses.
