This is what my cake is going to look like- what about yours??

Ok well the sketch of the cake isnt working, oh well! The balls on the cake that are white, are actually going to be green on my cake.

I still have NO IDEA how my cake is going to look... haha... I don't have much time to figure it out, either.

Lol when are you getting married? I think the cake is one of the first things we picked out..and our venue works with the baker, so I dont have to worry about finding a baker that will do it!

Our cake is fall and biker themed. The 4 round tiers will not be in the center, they will be flush. Our topper is on the bottom, so it looks as though the bike is riding up the mountain to Mt. Snow(where we are getting married).

Our inspiration pic is the top cake....We will not be letting them do the sugar leaves and acorns. We will be doing those ourselves.

The second cake is what I mean when I say flush.

The third pic is our "bottomer".

I love the idea of a wedding cake. They are beautiful, but me and my FH dont like cake so we are doing an assortment of pies

Ours is going to be more like the one on the left but instead of the dots we are going with the scroll in the one in the middle. The grooms cake is the x-box cake

The cake was actually the very first thing we picked out. A few days after we were engaged we were surfing the internet together and my FH said "I found our cake". He refuses to look at anything else - this is the one thing that has been set in stone for our big day!

Kimi your cake is so adorable! When are you getting married? I wanted to do something bright and colorful like that with gerber daisies but we are getting married in September lol so I dont think it would have went well!

My FH is obsessed with penguins, and he thinks we arent doing a grooms cake to save money, but my step mother told me she will buy the grooms cake, so its going to be penguin. We are also having penguin cake toppers for the main cake.

Our's will look like this, with the exception of the flowers on the top and coming down the side, instead of the fondant being purple w/white sketching; it will be cream w/purple sketching & a purple ribbon at the bottom.

This is what my caked looked like. It was YUMMY!

Buttercream frosting with a giant satin bow on top draping on the sides. I wish I could have saved the top tier, but with a DW, it was hard trying to figure out how to do it Maybe we'll get the baker to make us a little one for our anniversary and ship it to TX from San Francisco lol

@Kathryn: We're hoping to get married April 28th (we have to wait one more week to secure the date with the church) My FH is in LOVE with this cake and refuses to budge with it. As for colors I love bright and I'm not a pastel kinda girl. (FH has told me no to pink except for my bouquet He's been pretty hands on planning the whole thing with me) we're kinda all over the place but it works with our vision. Dark Blue, Yellow, White & Green. The Dark blue will be incoorporated with our cake, MOH & BM, menu cards, Invitation, Programs & name cards/escort cards and hopefully light lanterns if our venue allows us to hang them from the ceiling.

This was ours. It was yummy and beautiful!

We are having petit-four's both my FH's and my favorite! It will be white and tan with real flowers assorted around for filler and sugar flowers on the petit-fours. Also will save time with cake cutting. We will have a large petit-four on top for us to share/smash. I have a large sweet tooth so we are having a huge dessert table also. With peach cobblers, banana pudding, cherry gumbo, and strawberry pies... YUMMM!
