Cake inspiration!

And tell us what flavors you have.

This is ours. We're doing 3 tiers instead of 4, so just imagine without the top tier. We're also doing one orange rose on each tier. The bottom and top layers are white cake with strawberry filling and the middle layer is chocolate with chocolate mousse filling. We're doing a whipped frosting instead of a buttercream or fondant, which I'm super excited about!

    This is our inspiration! Except with different flowers. Our flavors from top to bottom are Italian Creme, Amaretto, Pink Champagne, Italian Creme. FH insists on saving the top. Whipped buttercream frosting!

    Yum sounds delicious!!! And I like the look!

    We are doing 3 tiers, 2 flavors: Red velvet with hazelnut and white chocolate mousse fillings, and coconut with coconut and passion fruit filling

    Our inspiration is below but we'll have red hibiscus flowers instead of yellow painted on (this is actually a cake done by the bakery we chose so we know they'll be able to do it). Then we'll have cascading flowers like in the second image, and our cake topper is the third picture (it lights up).

    This is our cake inspiration! The "ribbon" will be a slate blue color to match our colors. Also, no flowers. The polka dot layers will have clusters of 3 small dots instead of single dots (second picture).

    We're doing 4 tiers of swiss buttercream icing. Our flavors are:

    Bottom tier: yellow cake with caramel creme filling

    Second tier: devil's food chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate creme filling

    Third tier: almond cake with peanut butter creme filling

    Anniversary tier is the same as the third Smiley smile

    Last picture is our cake topper!

    This is ours except will have red sugar indian paintbrush flowers, chocolate pine cones, and fresh hypericum berries on top Smiley smile

    The bottom layer is vanilla sponge with raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and kirsch, and the top tier is a vanilla pound cake with passion fruit, rum, and vanilla filling.

    Here is our inspiration cake!!! We've made some revisions. We want the middle layer to be the same thickness as the other tiers. We want thin black ribbon at the bottom of each tier. And the flowers will be sugar roses! As for flavours, the bottom will be lemon blueberry, the middle will be chocolate with peanut utter frosting, the top layer we don't know what it will be!!!! Too many choices! We are leaning towards vanilla with a strawberry icing.

    Here's my inspiration without the domes tier on top. Cake will be ivory with white piping to make it look vintage-y. Lol our baker does multiple flavors in one slice so everyone gets a taste so each tier has two layers of strawberry marble cake and one layer of almond cake with two layers of filling - Swiss vanilla and key lime curd. I. Can't. Wait. For. Cake.

    There won't be flowers on top, it will just be our cake topper. The leaves will be a forest green instead of gold. The cake will be orange cake with raspberry filling.

    YAY! I love cake inspirations. Okay, so first picture is the shape inspiration, second and third pictures are how I want it decorated. The first and last tier will be the lines and the middle tier will be dotted. I'll also have fresh flowers used as a cake topper. Eek! I can't wait to see the result.

    We are doing doughnuts with a small cutting cake on the top. Something like the picture. Our doughnut flavors will be regular glazed, mint chocolate, and one called the Charleston is a bourbon creme filled doughnut with pralines and caramel glaze on the top. We are looking to do a red velvet and cream cheese icing cake with a simple design ( Swiss dots or a wavy texture) and a fun cake

    topper.

    Now I seriously want some cake!

    Everyone's inspiration looks awesome! We're doing cupcakes, but the top tier in the picture is our inspiration for the cutting cake. Our cupcake flavors are lemon, coconut, strawberry champagne, and chocolate espresso. The cutting cake will be french vanilla with butter cream frosting and fresh flowers as the cake topper.
