I'm ALSO an only child!

This is me! I love to run. This was taken right after my first marathon this past May. I've run 72 races total since I started running in 2011 (I'm a total nerd and keep track of all of them). My favorite distance is the half marathon-- I've run 12 of them so far.

Holy cow cristi, that's basically a race a month or more.

1) I have a twin sister - fraternal, not identical. we're the exact opposite of each other in every single way.

2)Keeping with the height theme: I'm 5'10" and DH is 6'3"

@Crisit - I started running in April of 2013. Since then I have done 10 5Ks, 1 half marathon, I have a 6.3 mile leg on a relay team and will be do a 5 mile turkey trot! I keep track of all of them as well!!!

Another fact about me: I went to French immersion elementary school growing up (*everything* was taught in French), so when I went to regular middle and high school, there were subject-specific words I only knew how to say in French. For the longest time I thought "Ai-ee-tee" and "Haiti" were two different countries.

I despise football, but love hockey! Flyers season starts tonight!! Here are pics of me from this winter at a game where I got what I like to call the "handicap hookup." I got to meet Bernie Parent and swap ortho surgery stories (hence the crutches) with Gary Dornhoefer. Ignore the hot mess hair and ridiculously happy smile.

@Janeen How my station works is we all have pagers. Once the tones drop for our station we respond to the scene if we are available. So even if the tones drop at 2am and you can go then you show up.

Elyse- I am a HUGE Flyers fan. I've loved hockey my entire life and I've met Bernie Parent a few times. He's a really funny dirty old man with the biggest hands I've ever seen.

Something you don't know about me: I can sing. Really freakin' well. And I've always wanted to pursue that as a career.

but my passion is music and singing. i tried out for the voice once...i didn't make it to the judges or anything but it was a great experience. i've done a ton of solos and like to post videos on youtube and such

@Koch I feel like I was the only person in Philly who hadn't met him! Clumsy FH met him a few times and even knocked him over once. I also hear how dirty he is but he behaved himself haha. Gary was so sweet though and talked to me for awhile.

Since I graduated high school, have lived in 11 states, 2 countries and visited 5 others. I have attended two universities, given birth to a daughter, bought my own house, and had open heart surgery (congenital valve problem) since 2004.
