Show me a picture of you AND tell me something I don't know about you

I know a lot of people have pix as their avatars, but I can't see them very well....and squinting will give me wrinkles. Can I see a bigger picture? Also....a lot of people comment that my FH must be really short when they see our pictures without realizing I'm 6' tall. (Yes, I am taller than him...

I brew beer and play violin when I get a break from work/studying.

(This is the most recent picture of me and my FH incidentally, we were at a wedding.)

I prefer being "dressed up" to normal clothes and I am obsessed with Christmas (like I was just begging my FH to put up our tree now so it can calm me down while finishing planning our wedding. He said no) So usually I will take Christmas as the only other time other than my anime convention to get all dressed up! (I also sing @Ally and Mrs. Mason! That's how I met my FH!)

@Atredis WOW that is amazing! You have me beat, I have only lived in 3 countries and 9 states over my entire life, and that is more than most people. I tip my hat to you, moving that much is hard.

True Life: I'm obsessed with my rescue puppy and any and all dogs/puppies/anything resembling a dog or puppy. My dream is to open up a rescue shelter for dogs and/or foster tons of dogs!!

@Barbara - I am from NY! I am from Long Island. I grew up going to Bear Mountain as a kid and I took FH there in 2012. We weren't engaged yet, but I told him that was my dream place to get married! Unfortunately, with the logistics and lack of hotels in the area it would not have worked out Smiley sad Also, FH doesn't like people looking at him (totally weird, i know!) so he wasn't a fan of getting married in a public place with a lot of people there...

I now live in Baltimore, where FH is from! and that is where we are getting married! In Towson, MD!

@ Elyse- I am so excited for the Flyers tonight!

@Koch- Bernie is always on Preston and Steve talking about his boat and picking up young chicks.

I am an insanely competitive person. It really doesn't matter what it is, but I want to win it. Last year, my work had a cubicle decorating contest where they gave us a few hours to decorate. This was my gingerman lane creation. Yes, I won.

My dad and I love to go skiing together. Our favorite spot is Vail, CO for 2 reasons- we ski for free since my uncle works there and their snow is seriously like powder. Here in PA it's more like ice.

Here I am on a parade float in Chicago. I sit on the National board for my Fraternity (it's co-ed so its a Fraternity, not a sorority) and I am involved in a Greek-American organization.

I love playing video games. I'm waiting for 11/18 to pick up my pre-ordered Dragon Age game!

@NotAllWhoWander I couldn't sit still and didn't have a college plan when I graduated, so I just explored for a while before university. I am glad I did it all when I could (and before I became a "grown up" with worries and anxiety!) and that I have those memories and experiences to carry me through. England was an easy place to live, no language barrier, and Spain was SO beautiful! I do still need to go to Australia. It's on the bucket list!

I was in colorguard my senior year (pic 1), competed with other sr members for 3 out of 4 solos and took all three.

Came back 4yrs later to teach guard again w/ my dj from my wedding. (pic 2)

Those two yrs were the best ever to watch my kids compete and win. They did a great job...now all of them are in college and either competing locally or at their universities.

@ Kristyn- I always say that if I ever hit the lottery, I would open up a shelter for all furry animals. If FH let me, I would adopt all of the animals!

@kristyn, do you foster now??? That's how I got involved - I fell in love with my rescue dog, and now I foster whenever I can!!

ETA picture!! That's my doggie in the back in the one with both, my current foster, (he's a tripod!), and my girl in the truck Smiley smile I'm obsessed with my dog!!

I'm a Land Tech in the Oil Industry but also am a Pure Romance sales consultant. Love it! Funnest part of my week is doing parties and enlightening/educating women on their sexuality. And currently finishing my 10 year plan Bachelors degree in Energy Management. (i'm 28...its been a looong road)

I'm 5'2 and FH is 6'1. He forgets how short I am all the time because i'm usually in a heel.

OMG @kristenann!! If I could make my office look like that all the time I would love coming into work more!! Right now I have a small tree that looks like a decorated Christmas tree (sans lights) in my office that one of my companies gave me for Christmas a few years ago. Mine is the only one that lived out of the whole office and I refuse to take off the ornaments.

    Let's see-

One thing I've never mentioned on the boards is that I have my own Mary Kay business. I currently am inactive. I bought WAY too much inventory and didn't have time to really boost my business. But I'm to the point now that the wedding is over, that I miss my beautiful ladies! And I want to get this makeup out of my dining room Smiley smile

    I'm 5'3" DH is around 6'1"

@kristenanne ME TOO! i beg FH everyday to let me adopt another one as soon as this one calms down a bit Smiley smile

@A&J I don't foster now...yet! My puppy is 11 months old and is still SUCH A PUPPY. He's half boxer so his energy is off the wall! We got him at 9 weeks and between training him and planning the wedding it's been too much to try to foster. I 100% plan on fostering as soon as I feel like we have the time and resources to, though! that's amazing that you are involved in fostering, I think it's such an awesome thing to do! I can't wait to be able to. I know I will end up being a foster failure though!
