Rice alternatives

I WANT to do bubbles but FH doesnt think it goes very well (we are doing a tuscany/italian theme) and my response was "well they cant throw wine at us" lol i like the streamer idea, i might suggest that to FH. My MOH also suggested silly string which i thought would be cute/fun

I haven't decided!! I am having a hard time with this one!! The basics are bubbles, sparklers, birdseed, and rose petals. I kinda wanted to do something UNtraditional for this. I look forward to everyone's posts! Oh and silly string would be neat the only thing I would worry about would be the mess!! LOL

Well we wont have to clean it up lol thats what we are paying the vendor for!! im also worried about it dying my dress, ic used some brands of silly string that stains if it melts/dries on clothes.

Do all silly string brands do that though?? iv had some that i dont think did and then others that obviously do. maybe buy some brands and practice, we might do that.

The best thing I could say to do is get a swatch of fabric that is the same or similar as your dress and try different brands of it to see if it would stain...

Oh and I meant that for the silly string lol

Seems easy and cheap enough. I wanted sparkles, but no go at my venue. I also don't want to have to clean up anything. Bubbles I think might be messy- I know my son-lol. I'll post once I get them complete.

Confetti (spelling?) you can buy what ever shape (hearts, stars, leaves) hole punch and what ever color paper and make your own
