Reception Table Names? What's yours?

I think we might do different butterfly names since we have a butterfly theme? We'll see.

We are doing tropical honeymoon destinations for our table names:

Aruba

Barbados

Cozumel

Fiji

Grenada

Jamaica

Los Cabos

Maui

Nassau

Oahu

St. Lucia

Tahiti

Originally I wanted to do the charaters names from Shakespear's comedies (A Mid-Summer Nights Dream, The Tempest, etc) but FH vetoed me. He felt it was too "heavy"

Pictures in black n white of us at disney, with and will name them the location of where the picture was taken. .. something like this..

Um, 1 - 22? (give or take) haha. yeah, I don't think we're creative enough.

I am trying to decide between "Love Songs" and " Famous Black Married Couples"

Girls you can't steal my ideas, as I am graciously sharring them with all of you .. can't steal what is freely given, is the point I am trying to make..

We're not having any kind of assigned seating. For that matter, we only have a few tables inside and a few outside. From everything I've heard from vendors near me, most of the tables/seats are left empty anyway (unless you're serving a full meal. We're just having heavy hors d'ouevers)

We may do names of trees that are particularly pretty in the fall. Or trees indigenous to Oklahoma. Or favorite songs. Or dates we've gone on or maybe milestones in our relationship (i.e.: First Official Date: Sushi Neko. He spilled a bowl of miso soup in her lap) but it would just be called "First Official Date" and the fun stuff would be on the table card.

Well since he is from NYC and I'm from Philly and that is a theme we are trying to run thorugh part of the wedding we were going to take pictures in front of famous buildings in each city and name the table that city. If we are not able to get all the pictures we might do "I love you" in a different language at each table.

I wanted to include my dog since he is so important to me so I took some pictures of him with the table number next to him ?

We are doing different cities FH's home country. It's also where we met. And since we are having our wedding here in Canada I thought it would be a great way to kindda include some of his heritage.

We might name ours after roller coasters since we met at Cedar Point. Haha.

I haven't decided yet, but am thinking that I'll have numbers, not names, so that people can quickly figure out the order of the numbers and find their tables. I like the idea of names but don't want to prolong the process any more than it needs to be.

Though I may put the numbers on pictures of us, maybe from our e-session...

@Dee that is so friggin cute!! We are most likely going to have different popular songs from all across the board and when it plays you get up and dance (hopefully)

We are naming all the tables after our favorite books, since we are having a "love story" theme
