PSA: if you want to vent don't do it on the Internet

That's really unprofessional. They need to learn to learn from what their clients say about them instead of being confrontational.

I think I know what you are referring too because I had some of the same issues with my vendor that you did. That is extremely unprofessional on their part and if I were you, I would write a nasty review and if they are part of the BBB, I would write a letter to them as well. No one needs that kind of negativity in their lives.

They said "how could I do that. We had a great relationship, we could lose wedding gigs because of what I wrote. " That I slammed them on the Internet. I said I was venting, not writing a review.

Wasn't it pretty harmless? Like, you liked the pics, but you didn't love that everything was shot from a distance?

There's nothing wrong with talking about what a vendor did or didn't do, as long as it's true. Very unprofessional on their part.

Their piss poor treatment of clients is what will lose them gigs - how their shortcomings are your fault is baffling.

If it was bad enough for your to vent about it, they should be more concerned about how to fix it!!

You had every right to vent, and still have a right to leave an honest review. I can see why they are upset, but they have no professional or legal ground on which to criticize you.

Ohh i remember that but i dont remember you giving the name but since you can see your profile and "if" you have them linked as a vendor i guess if someone really wanted to know they could find out.

If you're going to be in business, you HAVE to be able to take feedback, good bad and the ugly! How else will you learn and grow as a professional if you only ever hear or accept how amazing you are? That doesn't promote growth or change.

I hope they find this thread and see how their actions backfired. None of us would have even remembered your thread but now we do.

That is incredibly unprofessional and awful of them. You should absolutely leave a negative review. You were not bashing them, you were genuinely displeased with their work. As a business owner you have to be able to take criticism. The fact that they had a printout of your thread would make me want to get my money back and take additional action. This is a forum, and you are allowed to discuss your experiences with wedding vendors. I know for sure that none of us would want to work with this vendor now, not because of the pictures, but because of their customer service.
