Let's have some fun! How did you meet?

We met 10 years before we started dating at a house party. He asked me out then, but I was dating another guy. 7 1/2 years later, we run into each other as singles. He still had to ask 3 times for that first date, but only once to seal the deal! We are currently enjoying our first week as husband and wife :-) I am loving every second of it!

We met at my sister's wedding 5 years ago. He was a close friend of the groom's family. The groom's sister introduced us and we've been together since.

We met at the beginning of freshman year at the school we both chose but he ended up thinking I wasn't "cool" enough because I was a music major and he was a baseball player. That changed the summer after our sophomore year when he decided to break the stereotype and date me. Once his baseball friends met me they said I was the coolest music nerd they've ever met. YESSSS.

We met at his mother's funeral. I went to support my good friend. I offered my condolences and he couldn't stop asking about me.

We met on Plenty of Fish. I was over the internet dating scene. I responded to his message and then the same night we met at Chilis for a quick drink, just to meet. Before I left my house I deleted my profile. I was completely done with online. I was 49 minutes late (kid issues) and he waited for me. I almost cancelled because I was so late and I thought why bother, you already know how this will end. Well, I went and we completely hit it off. We had one drink but sat and talked for almost 3 hours. The next night we went out again and the following day we ran into each other at Walmart. We joke that we met at Walmart in the soda aisle lol. Turns out he lives right behind my office. We have been inseparable ever since. I knew from our first kiss that he was the one. I had butterflies like I've never had before and I still do.

We were set up through a friend! I met my friend at the beginning of our master's degree, and during a very boring class, we were writing notes to each other back and forth. It's like she had an epiphany, and all of a sudden she wrote "I know a guy who would be great for you" and then she told me a bit about him. At the time though, I wasn't ready to meet anybody because I recently got out of another relationship, so I told her I'd like to wait a bit to possibly meet him. A few months later, we end up going out for a girl in our program's birthday party, and my friend decides to bring out FH for me to meet. Although FH is quiet and reserved, it turns out that a lot of other girls at the party were interested in him lol and they were asking my friend "who is that??" My friend had to tell them that she brought him out for me. When we got to the bar, I asked FH to dance with me (using some lovely liquid courage), and we ended up dancing all night . We began going on dates ever since and now it's history . My friend is quite the matchmaker
