Are you doing anything special....other than the normal toast, garter/flower toss?

*Correction, it's not necessarily a custom of Hawaii but a Polynesian custom Smiley smile

Since FH has several alcoholics in his family, we are only having one bottle of champagne at each table for the toast, and the rest is dry.

We wanted to "up" the beverage factor a little and since one of my colors is a Latte, we are having a coffee bar set up when we serve the cake. Also I wanted chocolate covered strawberries, so when they serve the cake they will be putting a huge CCS on each one along with the cake.

Our guest book will be called "A Love for All Seasons" and will be our engagement photos of in all four seasons of the year. One side of each of the two pages will be a very faint copy of the other side, where guests can sign. Kinda like a year book. The pages are thick like cardboard.

@ Mrs. S. to be!- LOVE the Buffett/Margaritaville theme! Sounds awesome Smiley smile

@ Maui Bride - How beautiful! We are getting married in the Keys, but are having a small "luau" with dancers and all. It will be my family (mostly cousins) performing and I will also do a dance. - The Hawaiian wedding song & a tahitian Smiley smile

We surprised DH's brother and grandmother with individual cakes for their birthdays and had everyone join in on singing "Happy Birthday, both of them had their birthday the day before the wedding. We wanted to make sure they knew we didnt forget about them. We also had a photobooth that was a HUGE hit!

We are having 2 receptions. One right after the ceremony that's more of a "traditional" wedding reception with "American" food. And another the next day that more of a traditional Chinese wedding banquet. So that means 2 sets of invitations, 2 sets of favors, 2 cakes... Ahhh!!!

We are also doing tea ceremonies at both receptions.
