Help! 11 days left and I need advice!!

Joanna, on August 14, 2012 at 12:06 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

I have 11 days left and I still haven't decided how i am going to wear my hair! After my hair trial, my fiance LOVED it down and curled, but I am wondering if it is too much with my dress and necklace? ( dress has a keyhole back.. but my hair isn't long enough to cover it.) Here is

1. my dress with the necklace

2. hair down and curled

3. hair up

4. with makeup, hair down but not pinned on the side

I love the middle picture! It suits the dress. The dress by the way is GORGEOUS.

Honestly, both styles suit the dress really well. The updo is cute, but I think the flowy feel of the down and curled softens the whole look a bit. Perhaps to a half up/half down sort of compromise? Smooth and elegant but soft as well?

Both are lovely I vote updo - the neckline of the dress and the necklace deserve to be shown off. Hair down will break up the lines and you'll lose the clezn symetry of the neckline in my humble opinion. The flower on the waistband is all you need off centre. You look beautiful by the way!

I like the down do but I am drawn to the up. I am the kind of person who cant stand to have hair in my face so i know i would be playing with my hair if it was a down do. Not sure if you are the same way Smiley smile

OH this is a hard decision....I love them both (and LOVE your dress, btw)...I think the up-do though would be best if there is a back you want to show...otherwise the down would still look beautiful

Are you having your wedding indoor or outdoor? If it's outdoor then down might be hot depending on where you are located.

I love the up-do and your hair down. I'm totally jealous! I was going to do my hair down, but my stylist recommended against it. She said it'll stay better if you have an updo because you'll be dancing and sweating and people will be hugging you. It's just easier to have it up.

It definitely depends on your hair texture though and what you're going to be doing (dancing, etc.). I'd say go with the up-do and then take it down once you get to where ever you're staying that night... wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Maybe have it down for the ceremony and up for the reception?

I like the bun. It's really pretty and very elegant! Plus it will last longer than the loose curls. And you will be so much cooler having your hair up and off your neck.

I love the up-do because it adds more of a finished look I feel.

I think your dress is gorgeous and you look fantastic by the way!

It is an outdoor ceremony, and tent for the reception. Unfortunately I will need to pick one and stay with it since I won't have my hair stylus on site.. It has been bugging me for the past couple weeks.. i think it probably would look better up.. but in general i look better in pics with my hair down.. and my fiance loved it down so much...

Thanks for all the compliments on the dress! I absolutely love it .. too bad i only get to wear it once Smiley smile

I love the updo, I think with the time of year, you will be much more comfortable, and it really looks beautiful.

If it is outside your hair might fall out of the curl if you leave it down. Both are pretty though.

Hey Joanna, I think you should wear it down. I looks beautiful down and hey If FH loved it I say go for it. I have really fine and short hair so I couldn't wait to wear my hear down. Of course I had to have extensions put in, but it was soooo worth it I LOVED it and my DH was speechless when he saw how long and full my hair was. So wish my hair looked like this ALL the time. Smiley smile Here's a pic of what it looked like. Good Luck.
