Day of coordinator

I have a DOC. I'm able to message her at any point now and she can give me the minor details. Like how the is going to be set up or other random things so I know how to decorate.

I have one provided by my venue she is great and has been helping this whole year checking in with me

Yes. I'm doing a lot of diy and this is one thing I refuse to worry about.

I had to get a DOC outside of the venue bc venue doesn't offer one. She is amazing and has been available via email or call for questions. I strongly recommend.

Our DOC is a gift from God!!!

I have one and so far she is great! And I believe she will be our angel the day of our wedding. She will be taking care of everything. She has vendor contact information and they have hers. Starting the week of the wedding she will handle all contact with the venue and all of our other vendors. She will take care of having everyone where they need to be. Make sure our things get to us, as pp has stated. She is in contact with us a lot. I highly suggest getting one. She is outside of our venue as with all of our vendors due to my venue being unusual and our wedding the first there. I believe she will be well worth the money. Hope that helps!

We hired one, he's been one of the best decisions that we made. I mainly hired him because I knew I wouldn't enjoy the day if I didn't know that someone was controlling and keeping a eye on everything but hes been so much more. He's helped me think of things that I missed, complete my whole decor vision, figure out everything related to that weekend (venue layout, schedules, ect.). As we get closer her will also take over vendor coordination and logistics so I can focus on other things. I highly recommend booking one.

@April cost will vary by location and services. Mine has been open to working with me prior to his actual contracted start time but he is contracted to be a month of coordinator. I'm in NOVA and paying $900.

If my venue provides a venue coordinator should I still consider hiring a DOC?

Our DOC is provided by the venue and I would be so lost without her. She has helped me with planning everything and is absolutely amazing. She is in charge of setting up and tearing down the decorations and keeping everything running smoothly. She has helped us plan our timeline and I am so so thankful for her! She is a lifesaver. We have another meeting with her on Wednesday to go over all of the last minute and final details!

Absolutely, after all this work I want to relax on the day of. Plus there are too many moving parts for me and/or wedding party to coordinate.
