I am meeting a day of coordinator on monday the first and she charges $500.00 for the day and also including the rehersal dinner. she seems to know her s#!t and also seems very organized.

Is this a good price or have you seen cheaper?

I personally have no idea..but does this include meetings to discuss details about your day's events prior to the dinner and wedding?

It depends on where you are located. We are paying $1600 for day of and that is standard around us- Upstate NY.

Mine is twice that, but she has unlimited phone, email, and in person meetings and unlimited referrals. That is worth loads to me!

I am a professional wedding director and am freelancing as a DOC.
I also offer the direction of the rehearsal and unlimited phone/email and am charging less than that. Are you in the Atlanta area?

To me it is expensive, I had a wedding planner through my entire engagement who was AMAZING and she was $650.

It is actually on the lower side. Make sure she meets with you at least once before to review details and also does a walkthrough of the ceremony and reception venues. You will be really happy you booked her and not have to sweat the small stuff on your big day. Congrats and enjoy!
