I just continued reading and see you're going to AC..we love AC! I'm actually heading there the 11th with friends then 15-16th for FH birthday (we only live 40 minutes north of there so we go a few times during the year) ..that is a def a great place to be out about doing stuff with another couple ! So I assume you'll be there in the summer? I love the outside Bally's beach bar to hangout at in the summer.. and Tropicana has a karoke bar called Planet Rose that is always a blast to go to!

I love the idea! We are doing a familymoon. Which many people think is weird but to us we love it. My FH is in the Marine Corps and we rarely get to see his family, his leave time is few and far between. We are going to Mexico with his dad and step-mom, sister and her husband, and brother and his wife. We are going a few days before to have some time alone but we have lived together and vacationed alone before, we just really don't care that much about it.

I think you guys will have a lot of fun! I think we sort of unintentionally had a buddymoon - at least for part of our trip. We are both very social and met another couple on our honeymoon that was also honeymooning and ended up becoming great friends.

I also think it's pretty close-minded to say what you are doing is not a honeymoon. A honeymoon can take a million different forms.

That is literally the first vacation as a married couple to really decompress from the wedding craziness. No way would I want someone along with me, because then it would just feel like a normal vacation, in my book!

I'd never heard of it. It would have to be the right friends and the right trip, though. I've cruised with friends before and there's something nice about being able to schedule some seperate time.

Wow, you must be very social and extroverted people. Being around other people a lot is obviously very fun for both of you. Personally, I would never even consider having a buddymoon and am really looking forward to having a trip alone with my FH. But it sounds like you are very excited about the trip so I’m sure you guys will have fun!
