Hey ladies and gents! FH and I have really close friends getting married 2 weeks after us so we are all going to go on our honeymoon at the end of August together. Super excited. Anyone heard of Buddymooning(also means when you invite friends on your honeymoon) ?? Anyone else doing it?? 💍🍾🍹👙

Well our situation is a little different. We're paying for the Airbnb so if they back out it's no biggie. No money on their end was given or would be lost.

Our work schedules definitely makes things difficult at times. Now if we were together all the time I could imagine doing something like a buddymoon but as it is we need our time alone.

My parents did this, with their friends back in the 90s. It's a personal choice.

I wouldn't do this unless you know you can travel with these people. Being friends and traveling are two different beasts. Some prefer luxury when others want to do things at low cost. Others want to plan every minute, some want to be relaxed. Lots of ways you could end up being irritated by other people.

We had a mini-moon in NYC and for one night met up with a couple we are friends with but not the whole time.

When we do our "real" honeymoon, we are going all over South America and may see a few friends while we are down there but not the whole time.

Also, it's nice to see the turn up king and Queen back on the boards so soon.

Oh ok, Yeah that's going to be awesome in South America!

In a short time, our entire wedding and honeymoon have changed. It's crazy!
No more Airbnb or the "dreaded" self catering or our buddymoon. We are now doing a brunch wedding on Boat House Row here in Philly followed by an after party that'll end early bc were going on a cruise.

🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ crazy how things change lol it wasn't meant for us lol
